1. How to manage my vendors and sellers?

Please note that the option to manage vendors/sellers is only accessible through super-administrator user level permission.


In order to manage the vendors/sellers database, you can choose between two options:

  • 1a. Sellers & Suppliers Management:

This first option allows you to create an external seller address book database, which you can access by following these two steps : Preferences > Sellers. You can add new sellers by clicking on the “Add new” button as shown in the image below, and if you want to update or delete some entries, all you have to do is click on the name of the corresponding record. And if you want to use the built-in sellers table instead of the address book module, click on the checkbox as shown in the image below and then hit “Update”.

  • 1b. Address Book Options:

The second option allows you to manage seller database by means of the address book module. In order to do this, you need to identify a seller category by navigating through Preferences > Address Book Options. By checking the “User Address Book instead of built-in sellers’ table” as shown in the image above, you’ll be able to define your contacts in the Address Book module, as shown in the image below.

Tips / Hints
It is recommended to use the Address Book module to manage seller contacts (used on reagents and equipment modules).
