The Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo (US model) is a plug-and-play printer. Dymo is a local printer, so the printing should be ordered from the local computer connected with the Dymo.

LabCollector only supports this model.

Note: NPAPI JavaScript is not supported by Chrome, so Dymo LabelWriter may not work with this browser.

INSTALLATION

When you connect the Dymo for the first time your system proceeds automatically to the installation.

To check that the Dymo is correctly installed in your system:

  • Go to Settings > Printers and Scanners (Windows)
  • Go to System Preferences >Printers and Scanners (MAC)

Verify that on your list of printers you have Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the DYMO doesn’t appear as an option when you click on the printer symbol, please check the following points:
1. Ensure you have the correct version of the software.
2. On Windows go to the system tray in the bottom right corner of your screen and click on the upward arrow. Right-click on the DYMO symbol shown below and select Diagnose.

The following popup appears, asking you to open a test page to check the certificate.
After selecting Yes a page opens in your default browser with a link similar to the following (it depends on what is the default port): https://localhost:41951/DYMO/DLS/Printing/Check.
Depending on the browser you will get a message such as the one below.

Click on Advanced and Proceed to {domain}. Once you have confirmed the certificate DYMO label printing should be enabled for that browser. Use the same link as before (https://localhost:41951/DYMO/DLS/Printing/Check) for each of your browsers. For Chrome enter the following link in the address bar – chrome://flags/#allow-insecure-localhost – enable Invalid certificates for resources loaded from localhost, and relaunch the browser.

Note:

If you are using FireFox browser and facing issues to print from DYMO printer, you could try solving this issue by accepting the security risk from https://localhost:41951 or https://127.0.0.1:41951 (click the link to check).

It will show the error like the below image.
English translation: The error shows thatthe policy does not allow to consult the remote resource located on the localhost.

Try also the generic printing option, this will free you from all these compatibility problems
