How Does it Work ?
Scan Your Racks or Tubes:
Simply place your SBS rack or individual 2D-barcoded tubes into the AltemisLab scanner. The data is captured instantly with precision.
You can choose between two methods to transfer data:
- Real-time direct communication via TCP/IP, or
- Importing output files generated by the scanner
Organized Sample Data:
Once data is captured, LabCollector imports and organizes the scanned information (tube IDs, rack positions, and storage details) in real-time, ready for immediate use in your workflows.

Import unsupported scanner outputs, use the reader to capture data in an output file that you can import into LabCollector LIMS. The Batch Generator (Rack Scanner) is compatible (in file import mode) with most scanners on the market like FluidX, BioMicroLab, Thermo, Micronic, Ziath, etc. If you are using another scanner brand, we can add it to the list.
