Detailed Reporting

LabCollector includes a variety of tools for importing, exporting and reporting.

Importing:

lc_screen_exportAll modules can receive external data from your previous data storage. This is performed through a CSV or CSV-like file. For example, if you have Excel listings, you can save them as CSV or tabulated text file and then import this file into LabCollector. LabCollector can handle any kind of column separator characters.  You simply have to organize columns as indicated for each module. Multiple sequences in a FASTA file can be imported. Multiple chemical structures can be imported with SD files. Reagents batches can also easily be updated with an automatic inventory interface. Supplies prices are easily updated with the mass updater tool. LabCollector links to several brands of 96 well rack scanners for quick batch sample importing, updating and storage. Read More…

Exporting:

lc_screen_export_excelYour search results can be exported to the screen or to Excel format. This exporting feature applies the search filters you have defined. Excel export allows data recovery into other applications or documents for reporting purposes for example. You can list all records and have them exported too.   Exporting to many common files types is supported:  PDF, HTML, XML, CSV are all supported.  Multiple export options are available in every module and add-on.

Recipes:

With Recipes your lab can easily track, manage and report on the production of supplies in house.  Recipes and production management is a simple tool that bridges the gap between a full scale ELN and the records in inventory.  The tool makes it easy to know what components you need and which lots of each are available and valid.  Amounts used are automatically deducted from the inventory.  Reports can be made for each recipe.  Each time a recipe is used, a new record is made in LabCollector for the product.

Versioning:

All modules can be part of a versioning option. When active, all past versions of each single record are automatically kept in a history storage with time stamp and user info. All past versions can be reviewed.
