In LabCollector, the Storage Tooltip Fields section allows you to view and manage the custom fields displayed in the storage tooltip for each module. 

To make changes, navigate to: Preferences > Storage Tooltip Fields.


Viewing Custom Fields for Each Module

  1. Click on the module you want to manage.
  2. A list of all custom fields associated with that module will appear.
  3. Each field has a checkbox that allows you to select which fields should be displayed in the storage tooltip.


Note
  • Custom fields are created in the LabCollector  section Admin → Custom Fields (see chapter 5.4 for details).
  • Some modules have default fields that are always displayed in the tooltip and cannot be removed.




You can rearrange the fields to optimize the display of information in your tooltip. This allows you to highlight the most relevant data for quick access when working with storage locations and sample records.
