LabCollector allows you to manage microarray platforms for your experiments.

To make changes, navigate to: Preferences > Microarray Options


Similarly to other preference sections, you can create, delete, or edit microarray platforms in LabCollector.


  1. Creating a New Microarray Platform
      • Enter a name for the platform.
      • Click the Add button to save it


  1. Deleting a Microarray Platform
      • Locate the platform in the list.
      • Click the trash bin icon to delete it . If the platform is currently in use, a lock icon will appear , and deletion will be disabled until the platform is no longer used.

  1. Editing an Existing Microarray Platform
      • Click on the platform name in the list, modify it, and click Update & Save
      • Changes will apply to all existing records using that platform.
