This tab allows you to define the data source for sellers used in the Equipment and Reagents & Supplies modules.

To make changes, navigate to: Preferences > Sellers


You have two options for managing sellers:

  1. Use the Address Book module
    • This option redirects you to the Address Book module.
    • Categories in the Address Book are used to define sellers and brands.
    • If this option is active, the view will display a link in blue. Click it to go to the Address Book preferences (see section 4.1) where you can define which categories represent sellers and which represent brands.



  1. Use a separate sellers database
    • Activate the built-in Sellers table option.
    • You can then create seller records directly by clicking Add New, filling out the form, and saving.
    • This allows you to maintain an isolated database of sellers separate from the Address Book.
