Units of measurement:

In this section, administrators can generate a list of the units of measurement for the lots. The lot will be destocked based on this unit.


Note

 Alert on the minimal quantity for a product works only if the unit of measurement for the lot has been activated under the tab Alert.




The stock management can also be defined in terms of permission:

  • Who can add stock units: select the level permission
  • Who can destock units: select the level permission.

If a group exist with the option “View Only on the module Reagent & Supplies”, by checking the box, you allow the members of this group to destock. 

Activate the FEFO/FIFO option (First Expired First Out or First In First out) allows the user to be alerted (not blocked) if the lot selected is not the oldest lot in the list or the one with the first expiring date, this alert message will appear:

  • Who can release lots
  • Who can dispose lots

These two configurations allow to select the ADMIN users that will be able to release a lot in case of quarantine or to dispose of a lot (see section 10.13 Disposal List Management). 



Destock preferences:

The destock action can necessitate a project code and/or a comment each time. With this configuration, the two options are mandatory, destock will not be done without.


Warning

 Only active ADMIN users can be selected. If no admin selected, everyone can release lots.
