1. Searching and sorting using the columns

  • The columns provide a way to filter and sort jobs accordingly.
  • For example, you can find any case record by unique ID or job name, etc by just typing in the search column.
    • 1. You can filter results via job Number
    • 2. By case record name or ID (it could be patient name, or any custom module which is connected to LSM add-on in LabCollector.)
*Please see the knowledgebase for how to connect custom module to LSM add-on.
    • 3. By job status (Pre-order, Requested, Pending, In progress, Finished)
*Please see the knowledgebase for how to pre-register jobs.
  • In the same way as above you can search in other columns
    * NOTE: The columns received date, job info, Released, Results, Options help in sorting and not searching of the jobs.
  • Sorting can be helpful, to organize the jobs in ascending or descending order.
  • Each column contains grey arrows that help you sort based on each column.
  • These can be useful if you want to sort jobs just according to status, ID, job number, etc.

2. Search using Sample information

  • You can search for your job depending on the type or name of the sample. You can ask the research lab with LSM add-on, to configure these options for you in case you have no access to the add-on.
  • For sample level parameters you need to click the “On Client Form” checkbox in LSM add-on, for the fields to be visible under sample in LSMRemote.

  • You can also search by sample name (1) or sample type (2) like below.

3. Search using custom parameters

  • You can also include any custom parameters for searching in LSMRemote.
  • For these parameters you need to check the “Search filter” option in LSM add-on.
  • Warning
Only certain types of parameter fields from LSM add-on can be added in search filter like value list, multiple choice and string.
  • If the above is done you will see the parameter/s in the LSMRemote that will allow you to search for those parameters.
  • For example in below field parameters COVID19, First name and Last name are parameters that can help you find a patient names or the results categories.
In the below image by searching (2) all the patient results  that are COVID negative (1) .

4. Search using date

  • With this you can search for jobs within specific dates.
  • When you click on the date option it will allow you to find jobs from and to a date.
  • There are also automatic options which allow you to search the jobs that were created yesterday, last month, this month etc.
  • Once you have selected the dates, just click on Apply button for the search to be done.
  • To remove the dates or make the filter empty, just press the cancel button.
  •  You can search or sort the results based on this date filter.
  • For example, in the below image, it will show you all the finished jobs (2) between the 31st of March 2021 to 6th April 2021 (1) .
  • You can sort or search for Finished jobs for example, and either print their results or view them.
*Please see the knowledgebase for how to print multiple result or CoC pdfs on LSMRemote.
  • You can choose both date and requested column to find jobs for specific requester between or on specific dates. See section 5.

5. Search using requester

  • You can use the requester filter to search the jobs dedicated to respective requesters.
  • Depending upon this requested you can search or sort the jobs accordingly.
*NOTE: You need to have access to all requesters. This will depend on your user level permissions. You need to be an admin and have access to all requesters data to be able to search depending upon requesters name.
  • You can choose both date and requested column to find jobs for specific requester between or on specific dates.
  • For example you sort all jobs for a specific requester in the below image.
